When my daughter was two, I tried to keep her busy with trips to the zoo and the children's museum, gymnastics lessons and playgroups. One night as I was getting ready for bed, I scratched the back of my head and realized there was a lollipop stuck in my hair. It had been there all day, through a grocery run, a walk in the park, a play session at the library, and lunch with friends. Either no one had noticed or they just didn't tell me. And I didn't care. It had been a good day. And I had discovered where the lollipop ended up…
