October 21, 2009 – Twitter contest winner Kate Simpson and essay contest winner Ashley Culbertson enjoyed a great trip to New York City and rubbed elbows with the stars (including Uma Thurman, Minnie Driver and Anthony Edwards) at the MOTHERHOOD premiere at the SVA theatre, and after party at The Gates.

New MOTHERHOOD Premier Date—Essay and Twitter Contest Deadlines Extended

September, 17, 2009 – The MOTHERHOOD premier has been moved to October 14, 2009. As a result, parents now have even more time to submit their BabyBjörn MOTHERHOOD Essay and Twitter contest entries for a chance to win a trip for two to the New York City premier of MOTHERHOOD, plus great BabyBjörn prizes. The essay contest will accept entries until 8:00 p.m. EST September 27, 2009 and voting will run from 8:00 a.m. EST September 28, 2009 to 8:00 p.m. EST October 2, 2009. The essay contest will accept entries until 9:00 a.m. EST September 28th, 2009.

Parenting magazine’s “Meaning of Motherhood” Contest

Parenting magazine is bringing the contest at the center of the “Motherhood” storyline to life! Moms should submit one photo that illustrates “what motherhood means to me” and a 300-word essay describing the photo and its meaning. The winning mom’s photo and essay will appear in the March 2010 issue of the Early Years and School Years editions of Parenting magazine, and select runners-up will appear on Parenting.com. The winner will also receive $1,000 worth of merchandise from BabyBjörn and a “guest blogger” spot on Parenting.com.
